UUCGL Indoor Yard Sale (to benefit KIC)

UUCGL is holding an indoor yard sale on May 18th to benefit the Kids in Community (KIC) Program! 

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to come together and make a real difference. Whether you’re donating items, spreading the word, or lending a hand on the day, every little bit counts towards creating a positive impact. Let’s work together to make this yard sale not only successful but also a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved. 

There are many ways that you can help make this a success:

• Donate household goods and clothes — but please no furniture, VHS cassettes, stuffed animals, car seats, sports helmets, weights and weight benches, mattresses, computer monitors and guns (toys or real). These items place a burden on us in terms of disposal. Make an appointment for drop off by emailing Eileen at mcseknitter@gmail.com or simply bring them to church at one of these drop-off times:

Saturdays: May 4 & May 11: 10am-2pm

Sundays: May 5 & May 12: 9am-12pm

Thursdays: May 9 & May 16: 4pm-7pm

• Volunteer at the yard sale—we need people to set up and take down as well as serve as sellers
• Bake something yummy for the bake sale and/or the “coffee shop”
• Serve coffee and sweet treats at the “coffee shop”
• Save bags and coat hangers and bring them to church
• BUY stuff at the sale

All proceeds will go to this year’s Kids In Community (KIC) camp. KIC is a free month-long arts-based camp run by St. Stephen’s Church in Lynn for over 20 years. UUCGL has supported this camp for over a decade with grants and volunteers.
