We believe that the spiritual journey is a lifelong process. Throughout our years we continue to explore deep questions, to struggle with ethical challenges, and to grow in wisdom, compassion, generosity, and faith. The answers of our youth may no longer serve us in our mature years. The challenges of our contemporary society are ever new and changing. Boundaries of knowledge and of inspiration are ever expanding.
We continue to grow by drawing on the wisdom of the ages, the inner spark of our own spirit, and thoughtful conversation with others.
Our programs vary from year to year. Our offerings include programs and events that focus on Faith Development (including Unitarian Universalist Heritage and Identity, World Religions, and personal/spiritual/religious growth). We also focus on earth justice, social justice and community building both within and outside our community.
We have one Covenant Group that meets twice a month for simple ritual and conversation about a spiritual theme. The participants draw from their own experiences. This group is open to new members. We are hoping to develop more Covenant Groups in the future as interests develop.
The Dialogue Group meets twice a month and is open to all adults. The group is led by Ron Fishman who dialogues using the Bohmian Method. The Bohmian Method is a free-flowing group conversation. Participants attempt to experience everyone’s point of view equally and non-judgmentally. The Bohmian Dialogue Method is a transforming way to communicate.
Learning by Teaching
By teaching a children’s class, working with a group of teens, leading an adult program or some other congregational group, one’s own spirituality is stretched and deepened.
We have multiple events each year for people of all ages to join in creative play, service to the community, and learning from one another in a variety of ways
